Superheroes and Villains Costume Ball raised more than $109,000 in support of the Chelsea’s Closet program.
The evening was emcee’d by Bruce Sussman (aka – Clark Kent) and auctioneered by Artisan Auctions. Guests were dressed to slay in their Superhero and Villain costumes and took away great auction items like a trip to New Orleans that included roundtrip air, an authentic cooking class, vintage hotel, dinner jazz cruise and a city tour. There was also an amazing University of Oregon Basketball package that included 100 level seats at 4 games, VIP parking and dinner in the exclusive Founder’s Club. The evening was highlighted by the Schroeder family that spoke about the impact Chelsea’s Closet has had on 4 year old Easton’s journey with cancer and how it lightened and brightened their days at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Thank you to our many sponsors, especially our Platinum Sponsor – Avangrid Renewables, and our Gold Sponsors – Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. The Chelsea’s Closet programs continues to grow each year and we are excited to see what 2018 holds for us. Mark your calendars for the 2018 Costume Ball on October 13, 2018. It’s never too early to start planning your costume!
